Teachers Thanking Teachers

So, my friends, I'm bursting at the seams right now!  Ari over at The Science Penguin and I have been cooking up something for the past couple months that we are just so excited about.  A couple of months ago, we started chatting about a big giveaway around the holidays that would be our way of thanking our fans, followers, fellow teachers, and new friends.  Well, that giveaway begins...NOW!

We have joined up with 13 other extraordinarily talented upper grades teacher bloggers and authors to bring you a week of giveaways.  This is our way of saying "thank you" for everything you do for students every day!

The BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC giveaway this week is three $100 gift cards to all the places that will help you get through the next few months, which are bound to be crazy!  You can enter to win a $100 gift card to Target (because who doesn't love Target?), a $100 gift card to Amazon (for those last minute gifts, or a lightning deal), or a $100 gift card to TpT (to save you some time prepping for your week!).

Awesome, right?  Well, what is even more awesome is that everyone is also giving away even more fabulous prizes on their blogs, too!  You will find giveaways like gift cards to buy yourself some comfy Toms, to pamper yourself at Sephora, and teacher resources to win so that you can spend more time with your precious family.

Not only all of that, but Ari and I will also be hosting mini giveaways (and maybe a flash freebie or two) on our Facebook pages all week long.  Here's how it will all work...

We are all posting our giveaways today and running them all week so that you have a chance to get to each person's blog throughout the week (we know just how busy you are).  BONUS!  You'll get to know a little bit more about us because we are all giving away things that we are thankful for!

So, what am I thankful for?  Creative Inspiration.  My husband and I are so blessed to have two sweet girls, but we are running out of room in our home!  For the last several weeks, we have been in the process of finishing our basement so we have more room to grow (!) and to spread out the mess that kids inevitably make.  With all of that going on, I have been scouring Pinterest for ideas on best utilizing our "underground" space.  I've spent a ridiculous amount of time at home improvement stores and Michaels getting everything ready to go before the entire extended family comes to visit for Thanksgiving.

With that said, I am so thankful for the creative inspiration that comes from Pinterest (and the blogs that provide the content that is linked on Pinterest).  I love that I have access to thousands of creative ideas, for both teaching resources and other creative inspirations.  I will be honest and say that Pinterest originally made me feel like I wasn't doing enough as a mom, wife, and teacher.  I forced myself to move past that mentality, and now I'm convinced that it has made me a better mom, wife, and teacher!  Half of the meals I cook I got off a blog I found on Pinterest, my girls and I have done dozens of activities found from Pinterest links, and my classroom is more functional than ever because of all the organizing ideas I've gotten from there.

I'm giving away a $25 gift card to Michaels and a $25 gift card to Home Depot.  Who couldn't use $25 at Home Depot or Michaels?  Grab some holiday decor, wrapping paper, gifts....or finally complete one of those DIY projects waiting patiently on your Pinterest boards!

All right, here's the good stuff.  Enter now to win one of these 5 gift cards!  You have so many ways to earn entries while (hopefully) discovering some fabulous new bloggers.

Enter here for the GIGANTIC gift card giveaways!

After you've done that, enter here for my Home Depot and Michaels gift cards!  {HINT: You can grab a new entry EVERY DAY by commenting on my Facebook post of the day!}

And finally, check out these other bloggers who are also hosting thankful giveaways to appreciate their teacher friends.  All of their giveaways are valued at $25-$50, and I want to win every.single.one of their prizes (you will, too).  They all have a great giveaway going on at their blogs, so be sure to stop by sometime this week!
