  1. Hi Miss T! Thanks for the comment. I love Sunny Days, but I don't think I've ever seen her post about a task card board like this, so I would LOVE it if you could link to the post(s) here! There is a small picture on Pinterest that I've seen floating around of a few cards hung on the tacks, but it's a dead link, so I don't know where it originated, or else I would have linked to it as part of my "inspiration" for hanging them on a bulletin board. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

    1. I had never seen that before! Love her bead idea. I'll add a link at the end, but please, please, please know that I didn't intentionally use the same format that she did, and I certainly hope it didn't come across that way.

  2. I am in need of how you store them once the unit/topic is taught. I have all of these task cards laying around and cannot find some organizational tactic to use.

  3. I love your work! I have purchased several of your activities, and I'm just so pleased with them. My question is about the management of task cards…this may be a dumb question, but how can one or two sets of task cards be enough for a class of 20?

    1. Hi there! Thanks for your purchases and compliment. 🙂 Not a dumb question at all. There are a few ways you can use them whole class– play SCOOT, hang them up around the classroom and have students each start at a different number, then rotate around, or do them up on the document camera or overhead. Typically, I use them in small groups in math workshop or as literacy centers. I also use them in small groups for intervention. Does that help?

  4. It does, thank you! Will be trying out the task cards from the Titanic bundle. Btw, I think you need to write a book…how to make teaching the core engaging and interesting or kids. Love our ideas.

  5. Hi, I love your task cards and I have laminated, cut up and hole punched with ring, several sets! My query is – how do you set a small group of kids to use one set, of say inferring cards, when they are all grouped on the same ring? Do the kids open the ring and choose a card? I love your task board but not sure how a group would take them down and use them! Thanks

  6. I have never thought of these ideas. I have just started using task cards this year as a math review. I can't wait to use some of your wonderful ideas! Thanks!!

  7. I love this idea!! I have so many cards and I'd like to put out some for the kids to use for a period of time and then change them out. This is such a great way to get them out of boxes. Thanks!

  8. This is really an interesting topic. Congratulations to the writer. I'm sure a lot of readers having fun reading your post. Hoping to read more post from you in the future. Thank you and God bless!
